Supermarket Sweep this Xmas (November 12, 2009)

ASDA has said that it is already set to be most competitive Christmas ever with massive prices cuts throughout the holiday season.

Both ASDA and Tesco’s have stated that they plan to save their customers money by slashing prices this Christmas.  ASDA has said that it will save its customers over £150million in price cuts.

Tesco’s has said that it will slash the prices and save its customers £250million in price cuts.

No doubt Sainsbury’s will state the same over the next few weeks as will Morrisons and other supermarket chains.

Whatever the result let’s hope we all see some great deals this Christmas and that the supermarkets gain record sales as a result, everyone wins and we can kick start the new year with optimism that has been lacking over the last year or so.
