GM to keep Opel & Vauxhall (November 04, 2009)
GM has decided to keep both Opel and Vauxhall rather than sell them off. GM never really wanted to get rid of the European operations but because of the downturn it seemed inevitable.
But now with an upturn in business GM have decided to pull out of takeover talks and keep control of both which is obviously good news for the Ellesmere Port workers.
