Bank of England Asset Purchases Plan Will it Spur U.K. Inflation? (October 27, 2009)
The Bank of England will next week decide whether or not to increase the £175 billion pound asset-purchase program. Our gross domestic product, as you may know unexpectedly dropped in the third quarter of this year despite reports that it would do the opposite. The result is that the recession is now the longest since records began in 1955.
